This Music Meditation group will be offering calming, peaceful musical events. Music is one of the most accessible types of meditation available to us. Listening to tranquil, healing music can easily move us into a deeply relaxed meditative state. While in this state our heart rate slows, our breathing becomes slower and deeper and our brain waves also slow. Come and expand your musical abilities with traditional West African drums and rhythms. Our class meets several times a month at various locations west of the GTA. Tom Wolf uses his many years drumming experience to teach musicians of all abilities and techniques on Jembe and Dun Duns, and teaches how they relate to the traditions of West African culture.
